We believe good advice should be clear, fair, and feel like you’re talking to someone who actually gives a damn. So here’s the lowdown on how our service works, how we’re paid, and what to expect.
We’re not a “click-and-hope” website or a box-ticking robot. At Waddle, you get proper protection advice from trained specialists who assess your needs, recommend suitable cover, and explain everything in plain English.
We’re authorised and regulated by the FCA (No. 522551), Everything we do is designed around what’s best for you - not us. You can check our permissions on the FCA Register.
Note: The FCA does not regulate taxation and trust advice.Yes - our advice has real value (typically £750 per client). But here’s the good news:
Here’s what our fully advised service actually gives you:
This isn’t just about “selling a policy”. It’s about having someone in your corner - for years to come.
We’ll never charge a fee if:
We’re here for the long haul, not just to set up a policy and disappear.
If a policy is cancelled without letting us know, and the insurer claws back the commission we earned, we may charge a flat fee of up to £250.
This just covers a portion of the original advice work we did (normally valued at £750).
But - and this is key - we will never charge this where you engage with us or act in good faith.
We’re not into surprises (unless it’s your birthday).
If anything here doesn’t make sense or you want to chat it through, just speak to your Waddle advisor. We’re always happy to explain things properly - no pressure, no jargon, and no sales patter.
Because understanding your cover matters just as much as having it. 🐧💬
